Is Your Teen…

  • Having difficulty prioritizing healthy coping skills and easily falling into an “I am not good at anything!” mindset?

  • Struggling to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin?

  • Constantly comparing themselves to others accomplishments?

  • Having difficulty feeling seen and heard by family and friends?

  • Subscribing to friendships and relationships that aren’t fulfilling their needs?

  • Lacking healthy coping skills and falling into a pattern of Netflix binging to cope?

  • Frequently overwhelmed by school responsibilities and expectations, often resulting in lashing out or shutting down?

  • Feeling disappointed by their friendships and/ or romantic relationships?

  • Nervous about everything being accomplished perfectly, needing things at school and at home to be done just right?

I provide therapeutic support for adolescents ages 14 to 18. Being a teenager is one of the most confusing, and oftentimes uncomfortable transitions in people's lives. The questions of who am I? Who will I become? What is my purpose? Where do I fit? Who will accept me? Are all questions that come up during this time of constant change. The status of friendships and relationships with oneself, others, and family can frequently shift. Changes or disruptions to these dynamics often stirs up conflict at home, school, and in people’s interpersonal lives. I specialize in working with teens who are struggling in the following areas:

  • Life transitions

  • Low self-esteem

  • Perfectionist thinking patterns

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder

  • Chronic Illness and Autoimmune Disorders

  • Social conflict

  • Learning Disabilities and Disorders

  • Stress/ burnout

  • Communication skills

  • Boundaries

I am here to support your teen as we identify, cope, and move through the things that have them feeling uncomfortable.
