Why Our Reality LLC?

Our Reality LLC was developed through the framework that all people view the world through a lens made up of their individual experiences and internal narratives. Sometimes these narratives can support your growth, while other times they can impede your overall functioning. When you begin to adopt a narrative that no longer feels aligned with your inner beliefs, feelings of complacency, anxiety, chronic illness, and other experiences of discomfort can creep in. Luckily, you have a choice in determining who is writing your story, and what it says to you and those around you. In session you can expect a dash of humor, a sprinkle of healthy confrontation, and a whole lot of navigating uncomfortable feelings. We'll start by creating a plan based around your primary concerns, and identify daily concerns that have you feeling stuck and unsatisfied. Together, we can explore how to develop narratives and utilize tools to help you pivot and reach your goals.

My Story.

Growing up as a highly sensitive person, I often felt disconnected and a bit different from others around me. I experienced extreme food allergies from birth, limiting my ability to act as a “regular” kid, which honestly stayed with me even as an adult. My sensitivities however were not just limited to major food groups growing up in the 90’s, but was accompanied by hyper-sensitivities to fabrics, environment, other’s emotions, and learning challenges in school. While having experienced a slew of labels being thrown on me to identify my capabilities, it ultimately made me believe as a child there was something inherently wrong with me. I have come to realize that those labels were just stories others wrote for me, and that being sensitive to the world was and is not a curse. This has allowed me to connect and engage with individuals who struggle with a range of presenting concerns. I have had the opportunity to witness resiliency, deep narrative shifts, and people showing up to engage with their internal desires to grow and pivot. Our Reality LLC’s mission is to create a therapeutic space that enables clients to truly feel seen and heard.
